ARTRA Meeting 24.02.20

TOPICS DISCUSSED & UNDERTAKINGS:

Haven car park entrance/exit double yellow line:

TDC porfolio holder Cllr. Steve Albon has actioned the repainting of these existing double yellow lines.

20's Plenty campaign:

KCC & TDC money now formally allocated to fund £4K of speed restriction works & legal paperwork - following KCC Cllr. Barry Lewis successfully getting policy change at KCC.

Mouse infestation:

Millie Sparks reported on the mouse infestation in her flat at 26-30 Athelstan Road & a minimum of 3 other neighbours she's spoken too - she will action a mouse infestation survey door-to-door for all flats, following inappropriate & inconsequential response to TDC Environmental Control's English only mouse letter to the multi-lingual property.

Unanimous attestation of mouse infestation in all ARTRA member's properties present at meeting - 15+ households - Cllr. Heather Keen said she'd reserach street wide mouse infestation action &/or speak to Environmental Control.

Selective Licensing also thought to be a way forward to getting landlords to address mouse infestation in their properties, following Environmental Control stating that it isn't their remit to deal with mouse infestations, it is the landlord's responsibility, plus their resfusal to communicate further with ARTRA on the matter, only with councillors, falsley citing data protection.
